Ceramic Semi Porcelain Objects
During the museum of colour project I
collected a variety of orange objects. I took two of these objects and created Semi
Porcelain ceramic pieces based on the form. With porcelain you can’t use a vast amount of
material because you want the piece to look elegant. When firing the material
will turn a clean crisp white so instead of ruining the aesthetic by adding a
coloured stain or glaze I left it pure. This was repeated for both objects.
